Her ears sharp to the slightest sound, her nose collecting the intoxicating scents surrounding her, like invisible uplifting gifts breathed out at her by the ancient, twisted trees as she passes.
Wieghtless clawed feet rest on her shoulders, clutch to her hair… perch imperceptibly on her antlers, barely there and yet she can feel their tiny souls, joining with hers for that moment before they fly away to land on a nearby branch.
She is the forest.
All life leans in towards her as she soundlessly searches.
